After gaining her BA (Hons) in Visual Communication, Lorraine spent the next ten years working as an illustrator, initially from her studio in Exeter and later Birmingham, producing work for magazine publishers, advertising agencies and design studios.
While her children were still very young, the family moved to the South of France where they spent the next decade. Inspired by the beauty of the Côte d’Azur, Lorraine focused on oil painting and many of her works were made into prints by fine art publishers in Europe and the U.S.
Now settled on the East Devon coast, with her photographer husband, Bruce and two daughters, Lorraine is concentrating on painting full-time, drawing inspiration from the landscape and people around her.
Many of the originals on this site are available as prints. Please contact Lorraine for further details.
